Dr. Xiaoru (John) Chen
Dr. Xiaoru (John) Chen studied under the supervision of Prof. Ruyu Chen (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Prof. Kam Leong (Academician of the American National Academy of Engineering), and Prof. Ralph Yount (President of the American Biophysical Society). After completing his doctoral studies, Dr. Chen obtained his Ph.D. degree from Nankai University in 1995, and then moved to Johns Hopkins University and other world-class universities in the United States to pursue his postdoctoral career. Dr. Chen has amassed extensive experience in organic chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology, and immunology. His research contributions include the publication of nearly 30 papers in prestigious international journals, such as Science and Biochemistry, as well as holding 5 US patents. Additionally, he has filed 41 patent applications in China, with 20 of them already granted.
Dr. Chen has dedicated himself to scientific research and R&D management in the field of biomedical engineering, and he has worked for a world-renowned biotech company for 17 years and has devoted himself to the scientific research and R&D management in the field of biomedical engineering. He possesses extensive experience and sharp insight in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry, especially in the new product R&D, technology innovation, technology analysis and evaluation, manufacturing and project management of IVD reagents.

Dr. Xiangdong Wu Principal Scientist
Dr. Xiangdong Wu received her Ph.D. degree from Nankai University in 1995. After that, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington (Seattle), Washington State University, and other world-class universities. Dr. Wu conducted her research under the guidance of Prof. Binglin He (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, The Father of Ion Exchange Resin in China), Prof. Allan Hoffman (Academician of the American National Academy of Engineering), Prof. Ralph Yount (President of the American Biophysical Society), and Prof. Linda Randall (Academician of the American National Academy of Sciences). She possesses a deep theoretical understanding and solid experimental skills in molecular biology, protein engineering, cell biology, and polymer chemistry. With over 20 years of experience in a world-renowned pharmaceutical company, Dr. Wu has extensive expertise in protein engineering and new drug discovery.
Dr. Bo Zhou Associated Director, R&D Center
Dr. Bo Zhou obtained Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore in 2016. He was awarded Shenzhen Overseas High-Caliber Personnel (Level C) in 2019. Before he joined AmTech, he had worked as a senior organic chemist (team leader) for a world-renowned pharmaceutical company. He has extensive knowledge and comprehensive experience in organic chemistry and IVD industry. He has published nearly 10 papers in top international journals.
Dr. Liang Zhou Group Leader, R&D Center
Dr. Liang Zhou obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of Groningen, Netherlands, in 2016. She then carried out her postdoctoral research at Shenzhen University and subsequently at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was awarded Shenzhen Overseas High-Caliber Personnel (Level C) in 2019. She has vast experience and expertise in the field of molecular biology. She has published nearly 10 papers in top international journals.
Dr. Xiao Hu Group Leader, R&D Center
Dr. Xiao Hu received her Ph.D. degree from Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at West Virginia University. She has 10 years of research experience focusing on hypersensitive biosensors, DNA methylation and single molecule detection.
